Breaking Free!

Breaking Free!

A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.
Proverbs 25:28

There are many things in life that can leave us in a state of hopelessness and despair. The after effects of abuse in all its forms is just one example, which can leave us filled with bitterness, resentment, anger and despair. Leaving in its wake devastating emotional and psychological wounds. We are often gripped in a stronghold of destructive behavioral patterns and feel incapable of breaking free.

Are you struggling to make sense of life and want to know the purpose for which you were created? Have you been hurt by life and want to put an end to the misery which has followed you around and corrupted almost every area of your life? Do you want to exchange your pain for purpose and destiny?

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Step into a life of hope, healing, wholeness and purpose by inviting Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior. I invite you now to pray a simple prayer and to open up your heart and life to receive the greatest free gift of all, which came at a tremendous price to God.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Dear Father God, thank you that while I was still a sinner you sent Jesus into this world to die a cruel, criminal’s death on the Cross so that my sins could be forgiven. I repent of my sins and turn away from my old way of life. Please forgive me of my sins, come into my heart and take my broken, messed up life and exchange it for a new life in Christ Jesus. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and transform my life. Thank you for the power in the Blood of Jesus to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and make me whole. I pray this in the All-powerful and Almighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

Hallelujah and congratulations, you are now a Blood washed child of the Most High God. I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you to attend a Bible teaching church, and surround you with people who can encourage and walk you through your own struggles. My prayer is that as you persevere with the Lord Jesus Christ on your journey to wholeness and recovery, you will find the freedom which I have found as you grow from strength to strength, for the glory, honour and praise of God, our Loving Heavenly Father Who, through the shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross, has reconciled us to Himself.

Acts 17:28
For in Him we live and move and we have our being. As some of your own poets have said, “We are His offspring.”
