The after effects of abuse in all its forms is just one example, which can leave us filled with bitterness, resentment, anger and despair. Leaving in its wake devastating emotional and psychological wounds. We are often gripped in a stronghold of destructive behavioral patterns and feel incapable of breaking free.

Dear Father God, thank you that while I was still a sinner you sent Jesus into this world to die a cruel, criminal’s death on the Cross so that my sins could be forgiven. I repent of my sins and turn away from my old way of life. Please forgive me of my sins, come into my heart and take my broken, messed up life and exchange it for a new life in Christ Jesus. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and transform my life. Thank you for the power in the Blood of Jesus to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and make me whole. I pray this in the All-powerful and Almighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
Hallelujah and congratulations, you are now a Blood washed child of the Most High God. I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you to attend a Bible teaching church, and surround you with people who can encourage and walk you through your own struggles. My prayer is that as you persevere with the Lord Jesus Christ on your journey to wholeness and recovery, you will find the freedom which I have found as you grow from strength to strength, for the glory, honour and praise of God, our Loving Heavenly Father Who, through the shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross, has reconciled us to Himself.
