Moving From Fear to Faith!

Moving From Fear to Faith!

Undoubtedly, the last two years has been an intense roller coaster ride. For many of us, fear and depression has been our almost daily companions!

Panic attacks and discombobulation of every kind has been the reality many of us faced, as we constantly focused on the negative news broadcasts in the main stream media!

Before I came into a living relationship with Father God, through my personal relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, fear was my constant companion!

A distorted focus, coupled with very challenging life circumstances, which to me seemed insurmountable at that time, caused me to merely exist. I did not LIVE my LIFE fully filled with PEACE and JOY as God intended.

False Evidence Appearing Real in my daily existence, brough on almost daily panic attacks that rendered me almost incapable of functioning. Depression and oppression was real. As was the ever present feeling of hopelessness, and a desire to no longer exist. What I needed desperately was to LIVE!

Once I made the decision to move in faith, live in hope, and operate in love out of obedience to God’s Word, and His purposes for my life, inner peace and joy became my new companions. I shifted my focus away from negativity, and started cultivating my relationship with the God of Peace who sees, hears and loves me! And most importantly God’s plans to give me a hope and a future!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29: 11-12

Pleasing God, rather than living for the applause of people, out of my ever growing love for God, and a heart filled with gratitude because of His Grace and Mercy upon my life, motivates me to keep going no matter how tough life may get.

I have witnessed first hand, the power of God to transform a once broken and messed up life, whose merciless ruler was fear!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25

An excerpt from the inspirational Non-fiction book: From The Pit to The Palace, A Story of Redemption:

My world had fallen apart and I was in great emotional distress. For the next few months, I got through what seemed to be very dark days on automatic pilot. I merely existed as the emotional pain and turmoil grew and numbed my soul. My zest for life faded, but not my smile, and my inner turmoil was well hidden from even those closest to me.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8
