About

Abigail Neilson

Abigail is an Author and sought after Motivational Speaker who has a passion to share her message of hope and restoration with people who are hurting and in despair. She has overcome rejection, childhood sexual abuse, rape and domestic violence and candidly shares her story of redemption.

Her name Abigail means “Joy of the Father” but for 35 years she lived in a pit of despair, was driven by rejection, fueled by rage, bitterness and hatred. Abigail was on a collision course with hell. But God by His Grace redeemed her life from the slimy pit of despair and set her on a journey of healing and restoration as her hope was restored.

Abigail’s heart’s desire is to see every broken life healed and restored, and for people to fully experience the lavish love, grace and mercy of God Our Heavenly Father.

Do you have any questions, thoughts or suggestions? Or do you have a prayer request which you would like me to pray into? I've heard it said, "that a burden shared, is a burden halved"! I love talking to God Our Heavenly Father and would gladly intercede for you at His Throne of Grace and Mercy! I would love to hear from you. Get in touch!

Born on 30 April 1951, to Clarence and Mariana Dorothy Ramos Neilson, your journey through life took you along many hard and thorny paths, including, but not limited to domestic violence, from which you had the courage to walk away, in an era when being a single parent was frowned upon by society. But you persevered to the end and ran your race with grace in the midst of every hardship you faced. We have no doubt that you heard the words “well done, My good and faithful servant” when you reached eternity’s shores and looked upon the beautiful Face of Jesus.

Your mission on this earth was accomplished when you handed over your baton of faith to me, five years before God called you home on 19 July 2009. Mommy, thank you for never giving up on me when I was on the broad pathway of destruction. Thank you for all the prayers you prayed for me while you were on earth. The Lord has honoured the prayers you prayed, including one of the last prayers you prayed before He called you home: Psalm 27:4 “I have asked one thing of the Lord: it is what I desire, to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the Lord and seeking Him in His temple”.

I am living out your last message to us: 1 Corinthians 16:13: Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be brave and strong. I love you, Mommy, and look forward to seeing you in Heaven on that Glorious Day
