When allowed, fear can become debilitating if we do not put into practice the word of God that tells us to “FEAR NOT”, which appears in the Bible over 300 times!
Feeling fear is natural and in the right context, is useful and can help us to get out of amongst other things, life threatening situations. However, allowing ourselves to be consumed and overwhelmed by fear is detrimental to our overall well-being!
Choosing to not operate in the fear we feel is SUPERNATURAL! Something that comes through our willingness to listen, and obey the Voice of TRUTH who is the Holy Spirit of God living in us! Holy Spirit will always lead us according to the written word of God in the Bible, and in step with God’s character revealed in the scriptures. Never to the contrary!
The times we are living in are perilous; filled with anxiety and depression and the root cause of both emotions is derived from fear. Allowing fear to consume us and drive our behaviors and decisions will incapacitate us.
It’s time to be fearless! We must no longer allow the spirit of fear to rob us of the Joy of the Lord which is our strength, and our peace of heart and mind which comes through keeping our minds on Christ Jesus, and His Power to work all things out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!
