Deuteronomy 31: 6 “Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”

This is indeed a much needed word in season for 2020! Profound, and very encouraging for the times we are living in.

2019 was a very intense and challenging year for many people, myself included. Most of us went through very deep waters and fiery trials. In the furnace of affliction it often felt like we would not come out alive! As wave after wave of adversity knocked us off our feet, at times we felt forsaken by God! But God was with us, in the midst of it all, holding us steady with His victorious Right Hand.

The insanity of the situations we faced, often left us reeling and caught up in the grip of fear. Doubting that we would ever be able to get up again, and take another step!

But because God is faithful, and He is good, we were not consumed or destroyed! Instead, we have emerged stronger and more courageous, because the very same Spirit which raised Jesus from the dead, lives in us and gives us overcoming strength and courage!

Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for your faithfulness and loving kindness. Thank you for never leaving us nor forsaking us. We pray for Your Kingdom to come, Your will to be done in our lives on earth as it is in Heaven. Help us to fully trust and obey You in all areas of our lives. In Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
